Music

According to Shinichi Suzuki, the Japanese violinist, teacher and philosopher, “Music teaches us sensibility, sensitivity, discipline, and perseverance.” This is an important component and one of the building blocks in the overall human culture. Without music, it is impossible to complete the emotional development of the child, because the music is the human feelings and emotions converted into sounds. The ability to understand, to “feel” the music, and the ability to experience emotions are inextricably linked. And if we want to bring up a sensitive kid, able to experience and empathize, to understand and love, we need to pay attention to his musical development. In addition, listening to music helps to develop a sense of rhythm and hearing. This is important not only for the future musicians, dancers, or singers. Such skills are useful for anyone, because they find application in many activities of human life.

Research scientists from different countries have confirmed that at the time of musical, exactly musical, activities both hemispheres of the child brain are involved, which contributes to the very intense intellectual development. For example, an article published by American scientists in Brain & Cognition magazine says that musicians often use both hemispheres of the brain in their daily activities than musically untrained people, allowing them to better cope with any creative tasks, including those not directly related to music.

Again and again, researches from many scientists around the world studying psychology confirm that the psychological foundations of learning are laid and fixed from birth by the age of three. Hence the inference: it is beneficial to start developing music abilities of the child from the birth while not forgetting about the general development of the child. Music, playing, singing, dancing, these activities create positive emotions. And positive emotions is inner wellbeing of children, their mental and physical health.
