The carpeted outdoor ground protects children from falls as does the soft rubber material that has been placed on all the sharp corners. Rest assured your children will be able to play safely and remain out of harm’s way in our secure family daycare. We have gone above and beyond and we have made security and safety our number one priority. The yard is completely fenced in and your child will have no access to any hazardous objects.
Children And Nature
Today, young children have limited opportunities to connect with and learn about nature. Connecting with the outdoors and nature is beneficial to a young child’s learning. Research proves that when a child has the opportunity to be in touch with the outdoors and the world’s natural environment they will become more creative, improve their problem-solving skills and cognitive abilities, increase their physical activity, improve their self-discipline and their academic performance. Being at one with nature will also reduce your child’s stress levels and decrease the risk of them developing ADD. Our day care school for children has been designed with all the benefits of a child’s connection with nature in mind. Your children will be surrounded by a wide variety of fenced in trees, plants and flowers so they can learn to appreciate the beauty of nature. Our resident friends in our daycare are a number of birds, squirrels, and butterflies who often like to frequent the playground area for a little visit. A soothing water fountain that has been fenced in for your child’s safety also adds to the warm and exciting ambiance of our outdoor playground.
Outdoor play for children is where physical and social development happens. Your children will have a number of learning toys and activities to accommodate their level of development while interacting and socializing with other children. The great variety of toys will continue to challenge and encourage your child to develop new skills while having fun at the same time.
The daycare’s outdoor area is kept immaculately clean and your child will have a wonderful time learning and playing in a clean environment. Being far away from the main road on a small side street, there is less noise pollution from traffic and cleaner and fresher air making the area a peaceful and healthy place to play and have fun.
We are big believers that playing outdoors is just as important as playing indoors. The large carpeted yard is a haven for children to run, skip, play and zoom around on their wheeled toys.
