I’ve been putting off writing this letter for a long time, simply because it’s so hard to accept that this chapter of our lives is coming to an end. It’s impossible to fully express how much it has meant to our family to have all three of our children grow up in your sadik, spending their days surrounded by your warmth, care, and love.
I still remember the very first time we came to meet you. We hadn’t planned to start daycare for Emma for at least another year, but life had other plans, and we suddenly found ourselves needing care for her right away. We hadn’t even done any research or looked into options yet – just knew that we wanted a Russian sadik environment. Then Matthias came across yours.
We brought our almost 8-month-old Emma to your home, and while she crawled around your colorful rug, we spoke with you – not realizing at the time that we were stepping into what would become such a foundational and cherished part of our family’s life. That was August 2015. Now, in August 2025, with Christian graduating from sadik, I still can’t believe we won’t be making that familiar drive down Corbin anymore, pulling up to your house, and ringing the bell to be greeted by a happy child running through the gate.
From day one, we never had to worry. Dropping the kids off at your home always felt like bringing them to a beloved aunt’s house – where we knew they would be safe, cared for, nurtured, and loved. For that, we are eternally grateful.
The memories are endless. Emma and Sebastian’s very first friendships began with your children. I still picture Sebastian and Matthew side by side in their playpens. Those moments are etched in our hearts.
Please know how much we have truly appreciated every single thing you’ve done for our family over the past ten years. I always tell people how lucky we are to have found such an incredible daycare. Your thoughtful lesson plans, the way you balance education with play, the games and special events, the extra dance and music classes, the delicious home-cooked meals – it’s all been so special. And of course, the performances! Your Mother’s Day, graduation, and winter shows could rival Broadway, and we will treasure them forever.
You are an extraordinary person, and we feel so blessed that our children got to spend their most formative years in your care. I’ve saved every lesson plan, every classwork and art project, and every photo you’ve shared – everything from day one for all three kids. One day, I’ll show them so they understand what a beautiful beginning they had.
Thank you for ten amazing years. We will miss our sadik so much – but we’re not saying goodbye. This is more of a see you around, because we will always be connected and stay in touch.

My first child came in right after the pandemic, at 18 months old. We were very nervous because she is very shy but Oksana creates such a warm, second home for the kids, that my daughter quickly fell in love with Sadik.
My husband is American and doesn’t speak Russian. He always says that this daycare offers so much more than traditional, American daycares. Home cooked food, love and care, plays, holiday events. The kids love it.
When I had my twins, Oksana took them in at 18 months as well. All 3 of my kids loved their time there.
My shy first child was now reciting monologues in Russian, I am so impressed. She has really come out of her shell with Oksana, Inna, and the rest of the daycare helpers.
Over the years, we have had some emergencies- fire evacuations, illness, etc. Every time, Oksana was on top of it. She is in contact quickly, and has offered so many great strategies for us as first time parents.
If you can land your child a spot here, I highly recommend it! Especially if you’re worried that your child doesn’t get enough Russian!
My kids love it here and are a little sad to graduate.

They are speaking both Russian and English fluently, as well as spelling basic words. It is so much more than daycare – Oksana and her team has truly enriched their lives!

The curriculum has them well prepared for kindergarten with parents provided with the workbook packets kids have completed every week to give them a sense of what they learning and how they are progressing.
With art and music incorporated into the children’s well balanced learning experience. Lastly, the performances that Oksana and her team put together performed by the children for their parents are nothing short of spectacular. Truly a testament to how much she loves the kids and they love her.
Oksana truly goes above and beyond for the children – she cooks healthy homemade food for the children, focuses on developmental activities and play, and puts on 2 performances every year for the parents (and apparently has never repeated a performance so that it doesn’t get boring for parents!) Additionally, the children have arts and crafts as well as music and dancing lessons all in a clean, bright and inviting space. We have already placed our newborn on the waiting list so that she can have the same terrific early education experience.
I would highly recommend Glukhova school to any parent looking for a safe and caring Russian language school for their children.
Our daughter is already reaching pediatric milestones above her age and absolutely loves Oksana. Additionally, as a parent, I know my child is getting fed wholesome, nutritious food three meals daily, personalized attention, and intellectually stimulating activities.
This place is a blessing. I wholeheartedly recommend Oksana and Glukhova.
Not just a group song or a poem, Oksana creates a whole play, designs decorations and costumes, writes screenplay, and the kids learn their parts, practice, and then perform in front of the parents and relatives!
The kids stimulate their brain activity with memorizing and dancing, become more confident when performing. It is amazing how little humans can become different tale characters, thanks to Oksana and the team. To put aside the usual daycare routine stuff, which is top notch, the most important thing is that Oksana and the team love the kids, they care for them with such warmth and kindness, so when I drop my kids off at the daycare, I am confident they are being loved there, they are happy and cannot wait to go there every morning.
My youngest kid started daycare this year, and I live in Simi, so the drive is long, but for this daycare is all worth it! Thank you Oksana for the job that you do, for love that you give to our kids!
From the first visit we were very impressed with the art and educational projects we saw that kids do. The house itself is also well organized and partitioned so that there is a large dedicated area for the kids and their activities. They have art lessons, dancing lessons, craft projects and performances for the parents 2-3 times a year.
I appreciate that Oksana is very inclusive. There are children of various backgrounds, including our own, and I like that our children get to practice Russian in this multicultural environment.
Overall, we couldn’t be happier.

in addition to all this, the most important advantage of this kindergarten is the performances that she comes up with and sews amazing costumes for them with her own hands! we are very glad that we were able to participate in 2 performances for this year! this is a great experience and unforgettable memories that will forever remain in the heart of our girl, which helped her overcome embarrassment in front of the public and developed her memory, because the rhymes were very long! Always happy to see my little daughter. They do activities with the babies/ toddlers and send a report almost daily so I know when she ate, and other things mothers need to know!
The indoor and outdoor place very clean, neat and organized. My little daughter has really blossomed here, she is happy to see her teachers and has baby friends as well!
As a mother who needs to work I feel very comfortable leaving her with Oxsana. She is great and I really feel like she treats them as their own :)

My son is 15 months old and loves this place , we were looking for a home like daycare and this met our expectations 100%!!! They make sure that the kids are always busy whether its singing, or circle time, dancing, playing, arts and crafts . Glukhova day care is number 1!!!!
Glukhova Child Care has many materials for the children to play with like puzzles, magnets, animals, trains, boards, etc, she also sets up learning educational centers where children do educational activities in small groups. The place is very bright, clean, spacious and comfortable located in the quiet neighborhood.
I have visited several daycares in the area and have not seen anything like that: big windows, bright spacious room, everything is new and clean, bright developmental toys. You will love the outside as well.
The owner made everything possible for the child to be happy there, she is very responsible, responsive and caring, she treats the kids as they are her own. You can see that kids really love her, what else do you need for your child? It is a great learning environment, warm, nurturing developmental Russian preschool.
You should come and see yourself how wonderful this home-based preschool is!
That alone speaks volumes about the care that is given to my toddler. In addition, Oksana is wonderful, caring, and is very sensitive to every child’s needs. When I brought Olivia to Oksana, she was being potty trained. Oksana followed my home routine with Olivia as I asked and my child rarely has accidents anymore.
Also, I love that Oksana provides the kids with a variety of learning activities. Every week, Olivia brings home a tone of projects that she loves telling me about. Glukhova Child Care is a place where your child is well fed with home made food and well cared for.
There are just too many great things that I can continue to write about but I will just run out of space. I recommend her daycare to everyone! She is most definitely “a diamond in the rough” so to speak. There is not one thing that I can pick on.
We couldn’t be happier. My boys absolutely love Oksana, she is their 2nd mommy. They don’t want to go home most days I pick them up. That to me is the most purest answer of how wonderful and fun she is to the kids! Thank for taking such good care of the most precious things in my life, Oksana!
